“AMSynthesis,” is a live radio sampler that creates an audio performance unique both to location and to current events. Transforming live radio to create drones and leads through sampling short clips and sculpting the sounds in the air.<\/p>\n

Live clips grabbed from the radio are looped layered and manipulated using gesture in space. The size of the loop that is being heard can be “squeezed” and “stretched” with the performers hands.<\/p>\n

Performed at New Genres club and as live music for Esse Aficionado contemporary dance group. Featured in “New Interfaces for Musical Expression” documentary by, Gideon D’Arcangelo.<\/p>\n
