Holes (an eye meets an eye):In
a room there is a hole just the size to look into. Upon peaking in we
find another eye looking back at us. The eye in this hole seems to be
smiling back at us perhaps in response to our startled expression. We
wonder who is the person behind this eye, for as soon as they step back
they begin to fade away. Their eye is different than ours. We wink,
they wink; we frown, they laugh; we smile, they smile back. A connection
has been made and we walk over to the next hole, to discover a new person
or maybe just a new eye, to find out who is behind it. Looking in we
cause a stream of emotion to flow out.
Using
streaming technology World Holes allows people around the world to communicate
in a new non-verbal manner using only the gestures they can create with
one eye. There are multiple holes in one location, each linked with
a different place.
