Really interested in discussing commerce vs third place, I think it is really applicable to what we do, as I would posit that for the majority commerce is a way to engage (for good or bad).
I would agree that the way it is presented by Oldenburg it feels like a response to middle class suburbia, but I don’t think that the concept of 3rd places is restricted to that space.
